Who we are

AgeShift ("we", "us") operates the AgeShift web application and related services at https://app.age-shift.com. For privacy questions, contact heinrich@age-shift.com.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

  • Account data: email address, display name, login credentials (stored hashed).
  • Training and wellness data you enter: workouts, check-ins, sleep, energy, injuries, goals, body weight, and similar inputs used to adapt your plan.
  • Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, timestamps, and cookies needed for security and sign-in (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Communications you send us (e.g. support or trainer messages).

Do not enter highly sensitive medical information (e.g. detailed diagnoses, psychiatric records, genetic data, or information about third parties) unless we explicitly ask for it and you choose to provide it. AgeShift is a fitness coaching tool, not a medical record system.

How we use your data

We use your information to:

  • Provide, personalize, and improve adaptive training plans and related features.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Send service emails (e.g. sign-in links, password reset) when you request them.
  • Operate, debug, and protect the platform (including abuse prevention).
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We do not sell your personal data. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics to improve the product.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (providing the service); legitimate interests (security, product improvement); and consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies).

Processors and sharing

We use trusted infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, email, database) who process data on our instructions under agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Retention

We keep account and training data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward unless you request deletion or we must retain records for legal reasons.

Security and data incidents

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords). No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and regulators as required by applicable law, and describe steps we are taking to reduce harm.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at heinrich@age-shift.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children

AgeShift is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
